PokeBonk Tier List
This PokeBonk tier list ranks all 79 League Pokemon you can pick for a run, from S to D. Each one gets a Kit Score from its kit damage, max HP, armor and speed at the final form of its line, read from the game's own data, and the League is cut into five tiers: 8 in S, 16 in A, 24 in B, 20 in C, 11 in D.
On the PokeBonk tier list, the best Pokemon in PokeBonk by Kit Score are Machop, Krabby, Zapdos. Evolved forms such as Charizard are not picked directly: they share the tier of their League Pokemon.
Where to start: open the S tier below, check the PokeBonk starters if you only have Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, and use the PokeBonk unlock guide to add a top pick to your League. How the tiers are set is further down, with what the score leaves out. The list is recomputed after each PokeBonk patch.
S tier: 8 Pokemon
S tier holds the highest Kit Scores in the League: Pokemon ranked 1 to 8, with Kit Scores from 58.1 to 100.0. Each chip shows the Kit Score after the name.
A tier: 16 Pokemon
A tier holds the next best Kit Scores: Pokemon ranked 9 to 24, with Kit Scores from 44.0 to 57.9. Each chip shows the Kit Score after the name.
B tier: 24 Pokemon
B tier holds the middle of the League: Pokemon ranked 25 to 48, with Kit Scores from 28.9 to 43.0. Each chip shows the Kit Score after the name.
C tier: 20 Pokemon
C tier holds below the middle of the League: Pokemon ranked 49 to 68, with Kit Scores from 18.0 to 28.7. Each chip shows the Kit Score after the name.
D tier: 11 Pokemon
D tier holds the lowest Kit Scores in the League: Pokemon ranked 69 to 79, with Kit Scores from 0.0 to 17.0. Each chip shows the Kit Score after the name.
How the PokeBonk tier list is set
The tiers are computed, not voted. Every League Pokemon has a fixed kit: three moves from the start of a run (a fourth with the Lab's 4th move slot), a passive and an Ultimate. During a run it evolves by level, so we read each Pokemon at the final form of its line, with the game's own run-stat formula, and blend four numbers into one Kit Score from 0 to 100:
Kit Score = 0.50 × kit damage per second + 0.20 × max HP + 0.15 × armor + 0.15 × speed, each as a z-score across all 79 League Pokemon, then scaled so the lowest scores 0 and the highest 100.
- Kit damage per second adds up moves 1 to 3: base damage × hits ÷ cooldown × the matching physical or special stat × the evolution bonus × 1.25 when the move matches the Pokemon's type, times the passive's damage, attack speed and class bonuses.
- Beams, cones, auras, trails, orbits, traps, weather and buff moves cannot be measured from one hit, so they count at the League median.
- Max HP, armor and speed come from the final form's base stats and the passive. Legendaries get their +10% damage, HP and speed bonus.
- Eevee averages its three random evolutions.
Sorting by Kit Score and cutting the League by share gives the five tiers:
| Tier | Share of the League | Pokemon | Kit Score range |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | top 10% | 8 | 58.1 to 100.0 |
| A | next 20% | 16 | 44.0 to 57.9 |
| B | next 30% | 24 | 28.9 to 43.0 |
| C | next 25% | 20 | 18.0 to 28.7 |
| D | bottom 15% | 11 | 0.0 to 17.0 |
What the score does not see: passive procs such as stuns, shields and heals, the Ultimate, move area, the 4th kit move, level-up cards, items and how well you dodge. A Pokemon whose strength is a shield or a big area, such as Mewtwo, plays better than its score. Treat a tier as a starting point and open a Pokemon's page for its kit.
The numbers are read from the game's public files at pokebonk.com and were last recomputed 2026-10-20. They have not been checked by playtesting. Evolved forms show the tier of their League line. When the developer rebalances a kit, the tiers are rebuilt from the new data.
PokeBonk Tier List FAQ
How is the PokeBonk tier list made?
Every League Pokemon gets a Kit Score from its kit damage per second (50%), max HP (20%), armor (15%) and speed (15%) at the final form of its line, using the game's own data. The top 10% of 79 are S, the next 20% A, the next 30% B, the next 25% C and the bottom 15% D.
What is the best Pokemon in PokeBonk?
By Kit Score, the top of the list is Machop, then Krabby and Zapdos. Your build and items matter too, so read the PokeBonk tips as well.
What is the best starter in PokeBonk?
Of the three starters, Bulbasaur (A), Squirtle (A) and Charmander (C) by Kit Score. The PokeBonk starters guide compares their kits.
Why is Mewtwo not S tier?
Legendaries never evolve, so they miss the 1.24x bonus that three-stage lines reach by the end of a run, and Mewtwo's psychic barrier and stuns are not in the score. Mewtwo sits in B tier at rank 41.
Are the tiers tested in the game?
No. They are computed from the game's data and have not been playtested, so read them as a starting point. Items, level-up cards and how you play also decide a run.
