How to unlock Chansey in PokeBonk
Chansey joins your League in two steps. First, finish its League challenge; the counters add up across runs unless a goal says "in a single run":
- Have 25 members in your League.
- Recover 60,000 HP in total.
Catching Chansey
Then Chansey can show up as a Wild Encounter in your next runs, 50 to 120 seconds into a zone. It runs away after 150 seconds, so weaken it and throw a Poke Ball before then. The PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists every challenge.
Chansey moves in PokeBonk
Each League Pokemon has a fixed kit of four moves. Move 1 is equipped from the start; moves 2, 3 and 4 are offered as new-move cards at player levels 2, 4 and 7. A run holds three moves until you buy the 4th move slot in the Lab. Hit damage below is the move's base hit at level 1 before your stats, items and type bonus; cooldowns shrink with attack speed.
| Slot | Move | Type | Class | Shape | Unlocks | Base hit | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sweet Kiss | Fairy | Special | Homing | Start | 12 | 1.13 s |
| 2 | Echoed Voice | Normal | Special | Wave | Level 2 | 17 | 2.04 s |

Chansey passive: Lucky Egg
+40% HP and +40% healing. Every 10 s you lay an egg beside you that heals you for 10% when picked up.
Echoed Voice, Egg Bomb, and Boomburst match Chansey's type, so they deal 25% more damage (same-type bonus). Moves can also be learned from its learnset and from other League members of the same type, which the PokeBonk beginner guide explains.
Chansey Ultimate in PokeBonk
Chansey's Ultimate gets stronger as the line evolves: each form has its own version. Press R (Y on a controller) when the bar is full, or turn on Auto Ultimate with the Y key. The PokeBonk Ultimate guide explains how the bar charges.
| Form | Ultimate | Duration | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chansey | Miracle Egg | 2.4 s | Giant eggs fall on the enemies (6, 8 or 10 with Maturity): they burst, charm, and each one heals you for 4%. At the end, a wave of affection heals you for another 15%. |
Chansey stats in runs
The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:
| Form | Stage | Max HP | Armor | Speed | Physical | Special | Damage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chansey | 0 | 220 | 4.6 | 1x | 0.83x | 0.91x | 1x |

| 250 | 5 | 5 | 35 | 105 | 50 |
