The PokeBonk Ultimate is your Pokemon's special attack: press R (Y or RT on a controller) when its bar is full. Most League Pokemon have their own Ultimate that grows with each evolution, such as Bulbasaur's Furious Roots becoming Frenzy Plant and then Giga Flower Whip. The rest use a default for their type.
Every League Pokemon's page lists its Ultimate; the PokeBonk Pokedex links them all.
What charges the PokeBonk Ultimate bar
- Time: the bar fills by itself in about 95 seconds.
- Kills: each ordinary kill adds a little, capped per second so swarms do not fill it instantly.
- Elites add more, Alphas, Totems and Summoners more again, and a boss adds a fifth of the bar.
- Taking damage charges it in proportion to the HP you lose.
- Soul Dew charges it 40% faster, and Clefairy's passive adds 30%.
Auto Ultimate and Uninterrupted Ultimate
The Y key toggles Auto Ultimate, which fires whenever an enemy is within 16 m. The Uninterrupted Ultimate setting (added in version 0.7.4) removes the slow motion and the banner, and switches on with Auto Ultimate. Turn it off when you want to save the Ultimate for a guardian.
Ultimate damage and evolution
Ultimate damage scales with your player level (+10% per level) and with its tier. The tier goes up with each evolution, so an evolved form gets a bigger version: Charmander goes from Rising Blaze to Blast Burn to Giga Blaze. Your general damage stats also apply.
Default Ultimates by type
League Pokemon without their own Ultimate use the default of their first type, such as Meowth's Giga Impact.
| Type | Ultimate | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | Giga Impact | An enormous shockwave cracks the ground around you; then stars fall. |
| Fire | Eruption | Six magma fissures spit fire and a ring of flames burns everything around you. |
| Water | Tidal Wave | A giant wave spreads out from you in a circle and drags everyone along; it starts to rain. |
| Grass | Frenzy Plant | Eight thorny roots burst from the ground in a star shape and root everything they cross; the sun heals you for 20%. |
| Electric | Electric Storm | For 2.4 s lightning rains non-stop on nearby enemies, and at the end three enormous thunderclaps. |
| Ice | Ice Age | Spiraling ice crystals sprout and freeze everything within 14 m. |
| Fighting | Final Burst | A rain of twelve fists falls from the sky on the enemies and ends with an aura wave. |
| Poison | Toxic Deluge | Toxic sludge rains down on twelve enemies and leaves poisonous puddles. |
| Flying | Hurricane | Two tornadoes advance toward your target, dragging along and hitting everything they find. |
| Psychic | Psychic Break | Everything within 15 m freezes for an instant and is then crushed by psychic columns. |
| Bug | Swarm | Rings of stingers in every direction and a cloud of poisonous butterflies. |
| Rock | Rocky Avalanche | Twelve giant rocks fall on the enemies and stun them. |
| Ghost | Spectral Parade | A ring of ghosts spirals out of you, cursing and hitting everything it touches. |
| Dragon | Draco Meteor | Ten comets of draconic flame fall on the enemies and crack the ground. |
| Dark | Eternal Night | Night falls all at once and shadow cuts wound everything within 15 m; those left with low HP fall. |
| Steel | Steel Rain | Steel fists fall like meteors on ten enemies and burst into sparks. |
| Fairy | Moonlight | An enormous moon appears above you: eight moonbeams fall on the enemies and you recover 20% HP. |
