PokeBonk legendary Pokemon are the five strongest catches in the game: 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4. They fight as bosses at map shrines or mid-run, and each one joins your League once you finish its challenge and catch it.

Where PokeBonk legendary Pokemon appear
Mew waits in the Viridian Forest Shrine and Moltres in the Rocky Desert Shrine, the fourth stage after each map's zone 3 guardian. Mewtwo appears as a boss in zone 2 or 3 once its challenge is done (PokeBonk Mewtwo). In Survival, Mew arrives at minute 15, Moltres at 30 and Mewtwo at 45. The other maps in the code place Articuno and Zapdos at the end of their zone 3, but those maps are locked in Season 1.
Beating a legendary
A legendary's HP is set for about 60 seconds of your damage, based on your measured damage per second. If the fight drags past 2.5 times that, the boss tires and takes rising extra damage; at low HP it enrages. Its attacks are slams, rings, charges, bursts and shockwaves, with whirlwinds, skyfalls and hostile ground later. A win drops a free Great Ball chest, piles of coins, a Rare Candy and research points.

Are legendaries strong in PokeBonk?
Legendaries carry a +10% damage, HP and speed bonus and strong passives, but they never evolve, so they miss the 1.24x multiplier that three-stage lines reach. That is why Zapdos sits in S tier while Mewtwo lands in B tier on our tier list. Their passive effects, like Mewtwo's psychic barrier, are not in the score.
