PokeBonk shiny Pokemon are rare wild Pokemon with alternate colors that you can catch for Stardust and a partner. A shiny can spawn once per zone, appears 40 to 420 seconds in, and runs away after 120 seconds. Catching one adds it to your shiny collection, which unlocks permanent perks.

PokeBonk shiny odds
Each zone rolls once: the base chance is 8%, plus up to 8% more from luck (luck / 1000), times your shiny rate. Collecting six shinies gives the Shiny Charm, which makes shinies 50% more common and lets them stay 150 seconds. An Eclipse event adds an extra 20% roll, and shiny legendaries appear 3% of the time at legendary fights. A pre-run boost item guarantees a shiny in zone 1.
Only species you do not already own as shiny can appear, drawn from the map's enemy pool.
Shiny rewards
The first shiny of each Pokemon pays 120 Stardust and each repeat 50. A caught shiny fights beside you as a partner for the run, and shiny skins can be switched on in the League. The weekly task Rare shine asks for one shiny catch. PokeBonk Stardust lists the other Stardust sources.

How to find more shinies
- Raise luck with Lucky Punch, Star Piece and the Lab's Fortune upgrade.
- Play all three zones: each zone rolls once.
- Watch for the Eclipse event, which adds a second roll.
- Clear zones quickly on maps you know, such as Viridian Forest or Rocky Desert.
