PokeBonk Alpha Pokemon are giant, furious versions of the wild Pokemon on the map. They arrive at set times in every zone, and once you defeat one you can throw a Friend Ball to make it a Support Alpha that fights beside you for the rest of the run.
Alphas are drawn from the map's own wild Pokemon, so Viridian Forest and Rocky Desert offer different ones. Support Alphas do not join your League; for permanent unlocks see PokeBonk unlock guide, and for the strongest League picks the tier list.
When PokeBonk Alpha Pokemon spawn
In a standard run Alphas arrive about 2:30, 5:30, and 8:00 into each zone, taken from the current enemy pool in their evolved form when there is one. The Honey bag item attracts one more per zone. In Survival an Alpha arrives every 150 seconds, or every 90 with the Moon Pact.
Catching Alphas with the Friend Ball
Defeat the Alpha, then press E to throw the Friend Ball while it is weakened. Caught Alphas become Support Alphas: you have 2 slots, 3 with the Lab's Support team upgrade (3,500 Stardust). An Alpha you do not catch drops a prize instead.
