PokeBonk Mewtwo is the game's hardest catch. It does not wander in like other Pokemon: once its challenge is done, Mewtwo appears as a boss in a standard run, and you catch it after the fight. In Survival it is the minute 45 milestone.

Mewtwo unlock challenge
Finish all three before Mewtwo can appear:
- Have 60 members in your League
- Capture Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres
- Win the Rocky Desert on Hard
When the Mewtwo boss appears
In a standard run Mewtwo shows up in zone 2 or 3, 70 to 150 seconds into the zone, once per run, as long as its challenge is complete and it is not in your League yet. It pulls you into a psychic dome 22 m across and banishes every other Pokemon, Alphas and Totems included, so the fight is one on one.
How to beat the PokeBonk Mewtwo boss
Its HP is set for about 60 seconds of your damage, measured from your own damage per second, so the fight length depends on how well you dodge rather than raw power. Keep moving around the dome, slide through its charges, and save your Ultimate for when it is in range. Armor and regen help more than glass-cannon items here; Focus Band and Revive give a second chance.
Catching Mewtwo and what it does
After the fight Mewtwo is weakened and a free chest drops; throw a Poke Ball to add it to your League. Its passive, Genome: +15% damage, area and speed. Every 8 s a psychic barrier gives you a shield worth 15% of your HP. Your crits stun. It ranks B tier by Kit Score because it never evolves, though the shield and stuns are not in that score. Mewtwo in Survival mode
In Survival, Mewtwo is milestone 9, forced at minute 45 with a 60-second HP budget. Beating it there completes the quest Endless Night for 800 Stardust.
