PokeBonk Focus Band is a rare chest item: 15% chance to survive a lethal hit with 1 HP (once every 20 s). You find it in Poke Ball chests and Meowth's shop during a run, and you can hold up to 4 copies. It is not in the item pool at first: survive 15 minutes in a run to unlock it, then buy it for 350 Stardust.

What Focus Band does in PokeBonk
15% chance to survive a lethal hit with 1 HP (once every 20 s). Each extra copy adds the same bonus again, up to 4. Since version 0.5.3 bonuses of the same kind add together instead of multiplying.
Items work on every move you carry, whatever its shape, unless the effect names a shape or a type. The pause screen shows each move's damage per second, so you can check what Focus Band adds mid-run.
How to get Focus Band
Chests are Poke Balls you buy with PokeDollars during a run; each one costs more than the last. A paid Poke Ball lets you pick one of three items, Great Balls from challenge altars and guardians are free, and Meowth's shop sells four offers at a time. Rare items are rare early in a run: their odds rise with your player level, your luck and the zone you are in, so luck and later zones help.
Focus Band is one of the 35 items you must unlock: survive 15 minutes in a run. Then buy it in the Lab for 350 Stardust. The PokeBonk Stardust guide lists the cheapest unlocks first.
