How to unlock Kabuto in PokeBonk
Kabuto joins your League in two steps. First, finish its League challenge; the counters add up across runs unless a goal says "in a single run":
- Have 25 members in your League.
- Defeat 8 guardians of the Rocky Desert.
Catching Kabuto
Then Kabuto can show up as a Wild Encounter in your next runs, 50 to 120 seconds into a zone. It runs away after 150 seconds, so weaken it and throw a Poke Ball before then. The PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists every challenge.
Kabuto moves in PokeBonk
Each League Pokemon has a fixed kit of four moves. Move 1 is equipped from the start; moves 2, 3 and 4 are offered as new-move cards at player levels 2, 4 and 7. A run holds three moves until you buy the 4th move slot in the Lab. Hit damage below is the move's base hit at level 1 before your stats, items and type bonus; cooldowns shrink with attack speed.

Kabuto passive: Fossil Armor
+15 armor. Each hit you take is reduced by 3 + 0.3 per level. Like Kabutops, your Strikes and Boomerangs deal +20% damage.

Kabuto Ultimate in PokeBonk

In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Kabuto line evolves like this: Kabuto evolves into Kabutops at level 46.
Kabuto stats in runs
The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:
