PokeBonk Kabutops

Pokemon · Kabuto line · last checked 2026-10-20

PokeBonk Kabutops is a Rock and Water Pokemon that you cannot pick at the start of a run: it is the evolved form of Kabuto, a League Pokemon. Play Kabuto and it evolves into Kabutops automatically at player level 46, which raises your HP and damage multiplier to 1.12x. Kabutops keeps the Kabuto kit and upgrades the Ultimate to Fossil Slash. The line sits in C tier with a Kit Score of 26.7.

How to get Kabutops in PokeBonk

You do not unlock Kabutops directly. First unlock Kabuto through its League challenge and catch it; the PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists the conditions. Then pick Kabuto for a run and level up: evolution in a run depends only on your player level, not on stones or trades, so Kabutops arrives at level 46.

Each stage adds 0.12 to your HP and damage multiplier, so an evolved form hits harder and takes more hits than the Pokemon you started with. An Eviolite helps until the last stage. See PokeBonk evolution for every line.

Kabutops moves and passive

Kabutops uses the same four-move kit as Kabuto; evolving does not swap moves. Its passive is Fossil Armor: +15 armor. Each hit you take is reduced by 3 + 0.3 per level. Like Kabutops, your Strikes and Boomerangs deal +20% damage.

Kabutops Ultimate

At this stage the Ultimate is Fossil Slash, lasting 2.2 seconds: You jump from enemy to enemy with six slashes and two X-shaped fissures cut the ground around you. The PokeBonk Ultimate guide explains how to charge it faster.

Kabutops evolution levels in PokeBonk

In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Kabuto line evolves like this: Kabuto evolves into Kabutops at level 46.

Kabutops stats in runs

The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:

Where Kabutops appears as a boss

Besides being playable, Kabutops is listed as a boss on the maps: Rocky Desert as a possible zone 2 Totem. Boss HP is budgeted from your own damage per second, so the fight length stays close to the game's targets; the PokeBonk maps page lists every boss slot.
