How to unlock Geodude in PokeBonk
Geodude joins your League in two steps. First, finish its League challenge; the counters add up across runs unless a goal says "in a single run":
- Smash 50 rocks with Rock Smash.
Catching Geodude
Then Geodude can show up as a Wild Encounter in your next runs, 50 to 120 seconds into a zone. It runs away after 150 seconds, so weaken it and throw a Poke Ball before then. The PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists every challenge.
Geodude moves in PokeBonk
Each League Pokemon has a fixed kit of four moves. Move 1 is equipped from the start; moves 2, 3 and 4 are offered as new-move cards at player levels 2, 4 and 7. A run holds three moves until you buy the 4th move slot in the Lab. Hit damage below is the move's base hit at level 1 before your stats, items and type bonus; cooldowns shrink with attack speed.
| Slot | Move | Type | Class | Shape | Unlocks | Base hit | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Rock Throw | Rock | Physical | Bomb | Start | 24 | 1.63 s |
| 2 | Rollout | Rock | Physical | Boomerang | Level 2 | 15 | 1.44 s |
| 3 | Magnitude | Ground | Physical | Shockwave | Level 4 | 28 | 2.34 s |
| 4 | Rock Slide | Rock | Physical | Heavenly Impact | Level 7 | 31 | 1.55 s |
Geodude passive: Sturdy
You survive a lethal hit with 1 HP once per run. +10 armor.
Rock Throw, Rollout, Magnitude, and Rock Slide match Geodude's type, so they deal 25% more damage (same-type bonus). Moves can also be learned from its learnset and from other League members of the same type, which the PokeBonk beginner guide explains.
Geodude Ultimate in PokeBonk
Geodude's Ultimate gets stronger as the line evolves: each form has its own version. Press R (Y on a controller) when the bar is full, or turn on Auto Ultimate with the Y key. The PokeBonk Ultimate guide explains how the bar charges.
| Form | Ultimate | Duration | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Geodude | Rock Roll | 1.4 s | You curl up and roll 18 m toward your target, crushing and stunning everything you cross. |
| Graveler | Avalanche | 2.2 s | The roll, an avalanche of fourteen rocks on the enemies and six rocks rolling in all directions. |
| Golem | Golem Blast | 3 s | The roll and the avalanche end in an enormous explosion (without losing your Pokemon) that cracks the ground in a star shape. |
Geodude evolution levels in PokeBonk
In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Geodude line evolves like this: Geodude evolves into Graveler at level 30 and Graveler evolves into Golem at level 42.
Geodude stats in runs
The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:
| Form | Stage | Max HP | Armor | Speed | Physical | Special | Damage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Geodude | 0 | 106 | 13.8 | 0.97x | 1.14x | 0.94x | 1x |
| Graveler | 1 | 121 | 12.7 | 0.98x | 1.11x | 0.96x | 1.12x |
| Golem | 2 | 141 | 11.8 | 0.99x | 1.11x | 0.95x | 1.24x |
