How to unlock Venonat in PokeBonk
Venonat joins your League in two steps. First, finish its League challenge; the counters add up across runs unless a goal says "in a single run":
- Confuse 1,500 Pokemon.
Catching Venonat
Then Venonat can show up as a Wild Encounter in your next runs, 50 to 120 seconds into a zone. It runs away after 150 seconds, so weaken it and throw a Poke Ball before then. The PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists every challenge.
Venonat moves in PokeBonk
Each League Pokemon has a fixed kit of four moves. Move 1 is equipped from the start; moves 2, 3 and 4 are offered as new-move cards at player levels 2, 4 and 7. A run holds three moves until you buy the 4th move slot in the Lab. Hit damage below is the move's base hit at level 1 before your stats, items and type bonus; cooldowns shrink with attack speed.
| Slot | Move | Type | Class | Shape | Unlocks | Base hit | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Supersonic | Normal | Special | Homing | Start | 12 | 1.13 s |
| 2 | U-turn | Bug | Physical | Boomerang | Level 2 | 18 | 1.53 s |
| 3 | Silver Wind | Bug | Special | Cone | Level 4 | 4 | 1.76 s |
| 4 | Signal Beam | Bug | Special | Bolt | Level 7 | 9 | 2 s |
Venonat passive: Compound Eyes
+8% crit and +15% status chance. Confused enemies take +25% damage. Like Venomoth, +12% attack speed.
U-turn, Silver Wind, and Signal Beam match Venonat's type, so they deal 25% more damage (same-type bonus). Moves can also be learned from its learnset and from other League members of the same type, which the PokeBonk beginner guide explains.
Venonat Ultimate in PokeBonk
Venonat has no Ultimate of its own: it uses the Bug default, Swarm. Press R (Y on a controller) when the bar is full, or turn on Auto Ultimate with the Y key. The PokeBonk Ultimate guide explains how the bar charges.
Venonat evolution levels in PokeBonk
In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Venonat line evolves like this: Venonat evolves into Venomoth at level 41.
Venonat stats in runs
The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:
| Form | Stage | Max HP | Armor | Speed | Physical | Special | Damage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Venonat | 0 | 123 | 9.1 | 1.03x | 1.04x | 0.98x | 1x |
| Venomoth | 1 | 125 | 7.8 | 1.06x | 0.99x | 1.06x | 1.12x |
