Pokemon · Venonat line · last checked 2026-10-20

PokeBonk Venomoth is a Bug and Poison Pokemon that you cannot pick at the start of a run: it is the evolved form of Venonat, a League Pokemon. Play Venonat and it evolves into Venomoth automatically at player level 41, which raises your HP and damage multiplier to 1.12x. Venomoth keeps the Venonat kit. The line sits in D tier with a Kit Score of 17.

How to get Venomoth in PokeBonk

You do not unlock Venomoth directly. First unlock Venonat through its League challenge and catch it; the PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists the conditions. Then pick Venonat for a run and level up: evolution in a run depends only on your player level, not on stones or trades, so Venomoth arrives at level 41.

Each stage adds 0.12 to your HP and damage multiplier, so an evolved form hits harder and takes more hits than the Pokemon you started with. An Eviolite helps until the last stage. See PokeBonk evolution for every line.

Venomoth moves and passive

Venomoth uses the same four-move kit as Venonat; evolving does not swap moves. Its passive is Compound Eyes: +8% crit and +15% status chance. Confused enemies take +25% damage. Like Venomoth, +12% attack speed.

Venomoth stats in runs

The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:

Where Venomoth appears as a boss

Besides being playable, Venomoth is listed as a boss on the maps: Viridian Forest as a possible zone 2 Totem. Boss HP is budgeted from your own damage per second, so the fight length stays close to the game's targets; the PokeBonk maps page lists every boss slot.
