How to unlock Magnemite in PokeBonk
Magnemite joins your League in two steps. First, finish its League challenge; the counters add up across runs unless a goal says "in a single run":
- Paralyze 1,500 Pokemon in a single run.
Catching Magnemite
Then Magnemite can show up as a Wild Encounter in your next runs, 50 to 120 seconds into a zone. It runs away after 150 seconds, so weaken it and throw a Poke Ball before then. The PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists every challenge.
Magnemite moves in PokeBonk
Each League Pokemon has a fixed kit of four moves. Move 1 is equipped from the start; moves 2, 3 and 4 are offered as new-move cards at player levels 2, 4 and 7. A run holds three moves until you buy the 4th move slot in the Lab. Hit damage below is the move's base hit at level 1 before your stats, items and type bonus; cooldowns shrink with attack speed.
| Slot | Move | Type | Class | Shape | Unlocks | Base hit | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Thunder Wave | Electric | Special | Chain | Start | 13 | 1.26 s |
| 2 | Gyro Ball | Steel | Physical | Spin | Level 2 | 14 | 0.72 s |
| 3 | Magnet Bomb | Steel | Physical | Homing | Level 4 | 11 | 1.1 s |
| 4 | Flash Cannon | Steel | Special | Bolt | Level 7 | 9 | 2.02 s |
Magnemite passive: Magnet
+4 pickup range. Every 4 s a magnetic pulse pulls in enemies within 9 m and may paralyze them. Like Magneton, the pulse also damages them.
Thunder Wave, Gyro Ball, Magnet Bomb, and Flash Cannon match Magnemite's type, so they deal 25% more damage (same-type bonus). Moves can also be learned from its learnset and from other League members of the same type, which the PokeBonk beginner guide explains.
Magnemite Ultimate in PokeBonk
Magnemite's Ultimate gets stronger as the line evolves: each form has its own version. Press R (Y on a controller) when the bar is full, or turn on Auto Ultimate with the Y key. The PokeBonk Ultimate guide explains how the bar charges.
| Form | Ultimate | Duration | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Magnemite | Magnetic Field | 2 s | A field of orbiting magnets pulls everyone within 12 m toward you and bursts in a discharge that paralyzes. |
| Magneton | Triple Magnet | 3.2 s | Several Magnemite accompany you and unleash lightning on the enemies while the magnetic field drags them in. |
Magnemite evolution levels in PokeBonk
In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Magnemite line evolves like this: Magnemite evolves into Magneton at level 40.
Magnemite stats in runs
The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:
| Form | Stage | Max HP | Armor | Speed | Physical | Special | Damage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Magnemite | 0 | 91 | 10.8 | 1.02x | 0.95x | 1.17x | 1x |
| Magneton | 1 | 111 | 10.1 | 1.03x | 0.97x | 1.13x | 1.12x |
Magnemite base stats
Base stats from the game's Pokedex file (base stat total 325):
| HP | Attack | Defense | Sp. Atk | Sp. Def | Speed |
