PokeBonk Parasect
Pokemon · Paras line · last checked 2026-10-20
PokeBonk Parasect is a Bug and Grass Pokemon that you cannot pick at the start of a run: it is the evolved form of Paras, a League Pokemon. Play Paras and it evolves into Parasect automatically at player level 36, which raises your HP and damage multiplier to 1.12x. Parasect keeps the Paras kit. The line sits in C tier with a Kit Score of 23.1.

How to get Parasect in PokeBonk
You do not unlock Parasect directly. First unlock Paras through its League challenge and catch it; the PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists the conditions. Then pick Paras for a run and level up: evolution in a run depends only on your player level, not on stones or trades, so Parasect arrives at level 36.
Each stage adds 0.12 to your HP and damage multiplier, so an evolved form hits harder and takes more hits than the Pokemon you started with. An Eviolite helps until the last stage. See PokeBonk evolution for every line.
Parasect moves and passive
Parasect uses the same four-move kit as Paras; evolving does not swap moves. Its passive is Effect Spore: +20% status chance. Anyone who touches you falls asleep, gets paralyzed or gets poisoned. Like Parasect, the mushroom is in control: +20% damage against enemies with any status.

The Paras line uses the Bug default Ultimate, Swarm: Rings of stingers in every direction and a cloud of poisonous butterflies.
Parasect evolution levels in PokeBonk
In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Paras line evolves like this: Paras evolves into Parasect at level 36.
Parasect stats in runs
The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:
| Form | Stage | Max HP | Armor | Speed | Physical | Special | Damage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Paras | 0 | 103 | 10.4 | 0.98x | 1.11x | 1.01x | 1x |
| Parasect | 1 | 123 | 10.7 | 0.97x | 1.1x | 1x | 1.12x |

Where Parasect appears as a boss
Besides being playable, Parasect is listed as a boss on the maps: Viridian Forest as a possible zone 1 Totem. Boss HP is budgeted from your own damage per second, so the fight length stays close to the game's targets; the PokeBonk maps page lists every boss slot.
