PokeBonk Muk
Pokemon · Grimer line · last checked 2026-10-20
PokeBonk Muk is a Poison-type Pokemon that you cannot pick at the start of a run: it is the evolved form of Grimer, a League Pokemon. Play Grimer and it evolves into Muk automatically at player level 45, which raises your HP and damage multiplier to 1.12x. Muk keeps the Grimer kit and upgrades the Ultimate to Gulp. The line sits in D tier with a Kit Score of 12.5.

How to get Muk in PokeBonk
You do not unlock Muk directly. First unlock Grimer through its League challenge and catch it; the PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists the conditions. Then pick Grimer for a run and level up: evolution in a run depends only on your player level, not on stones or trades, so Muk arrives at level 45.
Each stage adds 0.12 to your HP and damage multiplier, so an evolved form hits harder and takes more hits than the Pokemon you started with. An Eviolite helps until the last stage. See PokeBonk evolution for every line.
Muk moves and passive
Muk uses the same four-move kit as Grimer; evolving does not swap moves. Its passive is Muddy Body: -15% damage taken. When hit, you leave a toxic puddle for 4 s that poisons and traps anyone who steps in it. Like Muk, the puddles are bigger.
| Slot | Move | Type | Class | Shape | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Poison Gas | Poison | Special | Trail | Start |
| 2 | Sludge | Poison | Special | Explosive orb | Level 2 |
| 3 | Shadow Sneak | Ghost | Physical | Charge | Level 4 |
| 4 | Belch | Poison | Special | Cone | Level 7 |
Muk Ultimate
At this stage the Ultimate is Gulp, lasting 2.8 seconds: You melt into a giant 9 m puddle that pulls in, poisons and traps for 2 s, and bursts into mud geysers. The PokeBonk Ultimate guide explains how to charge it faster.
Muk evolution levels in PokeBonk
In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Grimer line evolves like this: Grimer evolves into Muk at level 45.
Muk stats in runs
The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:
| Form | Stage | Max HP | Armor | Speed | Physical | Special | Damage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grimer | 0 | 136 | 8.3 | 0.98x | 1.12x | 0.97x | 1x |
| Muk | 1 | 142 | 9 | 0.99x | 1.07x | 0.98x | 1.12x |
Muk base stats
Base stats from the game's Pokedex file (base stat total 500):
| HP | Attack | Defense | Sp. Atk | Sp. Def | Speed |
