PokeBonk Hypno

Pokemon · Drowzee line · last checked 2026-10-20

PokeBonk Hypno is a Psychic-type Pokemon that you cannot pick at the start of a run: it is the evolved form of Drowzee, a League Pokemon. Play Drowzee and it evolves into Hypno automatically at player level 38, which raises your HP and damage multiplier to 1.12x. Hypno keeps the Drowzee kit and upgrades the Ultimate to Dream Eater. The line sits in D tier with a Kit Score of 10.8.

How to get Hypno in PokeBonk

You do not unlock Hypno directly. First unlock Drowzee through its League challenge and catch it; the PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists the conditions. Then pick Drowzee for a run and level up: evolution in a run depends only on your player level, not on stones or trades, so Hypno arrives at level 38.

Each stage adds 0.12 to your HP and damage multiplier, so an evolved form hits harder and takes more hits than the Pokemon you started with. An Eviolite helps until the last stage. See PokeBonk evolution for every line.

Hypno moves and passive

Hypno uses the same four-move kit as Drowzee; evolving does not swap moves. Its passive is Pendulum: +10% status chance. Every 7 s your pendulum puts the 3 closest enemies to sleep (Hypno, 5). Sleeping enemies within 6 m heal you for 0.5% of HP per second each (up to 5).

Hypno Ultimate

At this stage the Ultimate is Dream Eater, lasting 2.4 seconds: The pendulum puts everyone within 16 m to sleep and you eat their dreams: each sleeper takes a huge hit and heals you (up to 30%). The PokeBonk Ultimate guide explains how to charge it faster.

Hypno evolution levels in PokeBonk

In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Drowzee line evolves like this: Drowzee evolves into Hypno at level 38.

Hypno stats in runs

The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:

Where Hypno appears as a boss

Besides being playable, Hypno is listed as a boss on the maps: Lavender Tower as the listed zone 3 boss (map not open in Season 1). Boss HP is budgeted from your own damage per second, so the fight length stays close to the game's targets; the PokeBonk maps page lists every boss slot.
