PokeBonk Vileplume
Pokemon · Oddish line · last checked 2026-10-20
PokeBonk Vileplume is a Grass and Poison Pokemon that you cannot pick at the start of a run: it is the evolved form of Oddish, a League Pokemon. Play Gloom and it evolves into Vileplume automatically at player level 42, which raises your HP and damage multiplier to 1.24x. Vileplume keeps the Oddish kit. The line sits in C tier with a Kit Score of 20.1.

How to get Vileplume in PokeBonk
You do not unlock Vileplume directly. First unlock Oddish through its League challenge and catch it; the PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists the conditions. Then pick Oddish for a run and level up: evolution in a run depends only on your player level, not on stones or trades, so Vileplume arrives at level 42.
Each stage adds 0.12 to your HP and damage multiplier, so an evolved form hits harder and takes more hits than the Pokemon you started with. An Eviolite helps until the last stage. See PokeBonk evolution for every line.
Vileplume moves and passive
Vileplume uses the same four-move kit as Oddish; evolving does not swap moves. Its passive is Chlorophyll: +10% speed and +1 regen. In sun, +30% speed and +20% damage. Every 6 s you release a pollen cloud (4.5 m) that poisons.

Vileplume Ultimate
The Oddish line uses the Grass default Ultimate, Frenzy Plant: Eight thorny roots burst from the ground in a star shape and root everything they cross; the sun heals you for 20%.
Vileplume evolution levels in PokeBonk
In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Oddish line evolves like this: Oddish evolves into Gloom at level 29 and Gloom evolves into Vileplume at level 42.
Vileplume stats in runs
The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:

Where Vileplume appears as a boss
Besides being playable, Vileplume is listed as a boss on the maps: Viridian Forest as a possible zone 3 Summoner. Boss HP is budgeted from your own damage per second, so the fight length stays close to the game's targets; the PokeBonk maps page lists every boss slot.
