PokeBonk Starmie

Pokemon · Staryu line · last checked 2026-10-20

PokeBonk Starmie is a Water and Psychic Pokemon that you cannot pick at the start of a run: it is the evolved form of Staryu, a League Pokemon. Play Staryu and it evolves into Starmie automatically at player level 36, which raises your HP and damage multiplier to 1.12x. Starmie keeps the Staryu kit and upgrades the Ultimate to Core Beam. The line sits in B tier with a Kit Score of 33.2.

How to get Starmie in PokeBonk

You do not unlock Starmie directly. First unlock Staryu through its League challenge and catch it; the PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists the conditions. Then pick Staryu for a run and level up: evolution in a run depends only on your player level, not on stones or trades, so Starmie arrives at level 36.

Each stage adds 0.12 to your HP and damage multiplier, so an evolved form hits harder and takes more hits than the Pokemon you started with. An Eviolite helps until the last stage. See PokeBonk evolution for every line.

Starmie moves and passive

Starmie uses the same four-move kit as Staryu; evolving does not swap moves. Its passive is Core: +20% projectile speed. Every 8 s your core heals you for 5%. Like Starmie, +10% special damage.

Starmie Ultimate

At this stage the Ultimate is Core Beam, lasting 3 seconds: The star bounces fourteen times and your core fires a beam of light that sweeps 360° around you. The PokeBonk Ultimate guide explains how to charge it faster.

Starmie evolution levels in PokeBonk

In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Staryu line evolves like this: Staryu evolves into Starmie at level 36.

Starmie stats in runs

The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:
