PokeBonk Raticate

Pokemon · Rattata line · last checked 2026-10-20

PokeBonk Raticate is a Normal-type Pokemon that you cannot pick at the start of a run: it is the evolved form of Rattata, a League Pokemon. Play Rattata and it evolves into Raticate automatically at player level 36, which raises your HP and damage multiplier to 1.12x. Raticate keeps the Rattata kit and upgrades the Ultimate to Fierce Super Fang. The line sits in S tier with a Kit Score of 62.

How to get Raticate in PokeBonk

You do not unlock Raticate directly. First unlock Rattata through its League challenge and catch it; the PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists the conditions. Then pick Rattata for a run and level up: evolution in a run depends only on your player level, not on stones or trades, so Raticate arrives at level 36.

Each stage adds 0.12 to your HP and damage multiplier, so an evolved form hits harder and takes more hits than the Pokemon you started with. An Eviolite helps until the last stage. See PokeBonk evolution for every line.

Raticate moves and passive

Raticate uses the same four-move kit as Rattata; evolving does not swap moves. Its passive is Hustle: +25% physical damage and +10% attack speed, in exchange for -8% HP.

Raticate Ultimate

At this stage the Ultimate is Fierce Super Fang, lasting 1.9 seconds: Twelve bites in a row; enemies left below 30% HP drop instantly (not bosses). It ends with a bite that cracks the ground. The PokeBonk Ultimate guide explains how to charge it faster.

Raticate evolution levels in PokeBonk

In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Rattata line evolves like this: Rattata evolves into Raticate at level 36.

Raticate stats in runs

The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:

Where Raticate appears as a boss

Besides being playable, Raticate is listed as a boss on the maps: Viridian Forest as a possible zone 1 Totem. Boss HP is budgeted from your own damage per second, so the fight length stays close to the game's targets; the PokeBonk maps page lists every boss slot.
