Play Poliwag and it evolves into Poliwhirl automatically at player level 30, which raises your HP and damage multiplier to 1.12x. Poliwhirl keeps the Poliwag kit. How to get Poliwhirl in PokeBonk
You do not unlock Poliwhirl directly. First unlock Poliwag through its League challenge and catch it; the PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists the conditions. Then pick Poliwag for a run and level up: evolution in a run depends only on your player level, not on stones or trades, so Poliwhirl arrives at level 30.
Each stage adds 0.12 to your HP and damage multiplier, so an evolved form hits harder and takes more hits than the Pokemon you started with. An Eviolite helps until the last stage. See PokeBonk evolution for every line.
Poliwhirl moves and passive
Poliwhirl uses the same four-move kit as Poliwag; evolving does not swap moves. Its passive is Swift Swim: +10% HP and +20% projectile speed. In rain, +30% speed and +20% damage. Like Poliwrath, +15% physical damage.

In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Poliwag line evolves like this: Poliwag evolves into Poliwhirl at level 30 and Poliwhirl evolves into Poliwrath at level 42.

The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths.
