PokeBonk Ninetales
Pokemon · Vulpix line · last checked 2026-10-20
PokeBonk Ninetales is a Fire-type Pokemon that you cannot pick at the start of a run: it is the evolved form of Vulpix, a League Pokemon. Play Vulpix and it evolves into Ninetales automatically at player level 36, which raises your HP and damage multiplier to 1.12x. Ninetales keeps the Vulpix kit and upgrades the Ultimate to Nine Tails. The line sits in C tier with a Kit Score of 27.9.

How to get Ninetales in PokeBonk
You do not unlock Ninetales directly. First unlock Vulpix through its League challenge and catch it; the PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists the conditions. Then pick Vulpix for a run and level up: evolution in a run depends only on your player level, not on stones or trades, so Ninetales arrives at level 36.
Each stage adds 0.12 to your HP and damage multiplier, so an evolved form hits harder and takes more hits than the Pokemon you started with. An Eviolite helps until the last stage. See PokeBonk evolution for every line.
Ninetales moves and passive
Ninetales uses the same four-move kit as Vulpix; evolving does not swap moves. Its passive is Flash Fire: +20% Fire damage and +15% status damage.
| Slot | Move | Type | Class | Shape | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Will-O-Wisp | Fire | Special | Homing | Start |

Ninetales Ultimate
At this stage the Ultimate is Nine Tails, lasting 2.4 seconds: Nine fire tails sweep the ground in a star shape, eighteen will-o-wisps hunt for enemies and a millennial grudge curses and confuses everything within 15 m. The PokeBonk Ultimate guide explains how to charge it faster.
Ninetales evolution levels in PokeBonk
In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Vulpix line evolves like this: Vulpix evolves into Ninetales at level 36.
Ninetales stats in runs
The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:
