Pokemon · Krabby line · last checked 2026-10-20

PokeBonk Kingler is a Water-type Pokemon that you cannot pick at the start of a run: it is the evolved form of Krabby, a League Pokemon. Play Krabby and it evolves into Kingler automatically at player level 39, which raises your HP and damage multiplier to 1.12x. Kingler keeps the Krabby kit and upgrades the Ultimate to Abyssal Guillotine. The line sits in S tier with a Kit Score of 74.1.

How to get Kingler in PokeBonk

You do not unlock Kingler directly. First unlock Krabby through its League challenge and catch it; the PokeBonk unlock Pokemon guide lists the conditions. Then pick Krabby for a run and level up: evolution in a run depends only on your player level, not on stones or trades, so Kingler arrives at level 39.

Each stage adds 0.12 to your HP and damage multiplier, so an evolved form hits harder and takes more hits than the Pokemon you started with. An Eviolite helps until the last stage. See PokeBonk evolution for every line.

Kingler moves and passive

Kingler uses the same four-move kit as Krabby; evolving does not swap moves. Its passive is Giant Pincer: +6 armor. Your Strikes deal +20% damage. Every 5th hit of a Strike is a pincer that deals double damage and stuns (Kingler, every 4th).

Kingler Ultimate

At this stage the Ultimate is Abyssal Guillotine, lasting 2.4 seconds: The X-shaped fissures and a giant pincer fall on the three strongest enemies (stun) amid water geysers. The PokeBonk Ultimate guide explains how to charge it faster.

Kingler evolution levels in PokeBonk

In PokeBonk every evolution happens by player level inside a run, whatever the main games ask for. The Krabby line evolves like this: Krabby evolves into Kingler at level 39.

Kingler stats in runs

The game turns base stats into run stats with the share of each stat in the base stat total, so a balanced Pokemon and a lopsided one end up with different strengths. Each evolution stage adds 0.12 to the HP and damage multiplier. These are the starting values before Lab upgrades, items and vitamins:

Where Kingler appears as a boss

Besides being playable, Kingler is listed as a boss on the maps: Storm Coast as the listed zone 3 boss (map not open in Season 1). Boss HP is budgeted from your own damage per second, so the fight length stays close to the game's targets; the PokeBonk maps page lists every boss slot.
