PokeBonk Comet Shard is an epic chest item: +40% PokeDollars and +30 luck. You find it in Poke Ball chests and Meowth's shop during a run, and you can hold up to 10 copies. It is not in the item pool at first: open 100 item poke balls to unlock it, then buy it for 900 Stardust.

What Comet Shard does in PokeBonk
+40% PokeDollars and +30 luck. Each extra copy adds the same bonus again, up to 10. Since version 0.5.3 bonuses of the same kind add together instead of multiplying, so 10 copies give +400% PokeDollars and +300 luck.
Items work on every move you carry, whatever its shape, unless the effect names a shape or a type. The pause screen shows each move's damage per second, so you can check what Comet Shard adds mid-run.
How to get Comet Shard
Chests are Poke Balls you buy with PokeDollars during a run; each one costs more than the last. A paid Poke Ball lets you pick one of three items, Great Balls from challenge altars and guardians are free, and Meowth's shop sells four offers at a time. Epic items are rare early in a run: their odds rise with your player level, your luck and the zone you are in, so luck and later zones help.
Comet Shard is one of the 35 items you must unlock: open 100 item poke balls. Then buy it in the Lab for 900 Stardust. The PokeBonk Stardust guide lists the cheapest unlocks first.
